How can dry needling help me?
Dry Needling is a technique provided by physical therapists to relieve pain that impacts movement and function. Very fine, “dry” needles are gently placed into tight, tender muscle areas called trigger points. These trigger points can cause pain both at the site and in nearby tissues, known as referral patterns, which can mimic issues like sciatica, tendonitis, or nerve impingement. During treatment, the needle is sometimes lightly stimulated with an electrical pulse. Many people experience immediate symptom relief, especially when dry needling is combined with other physical therapy techniques.
